Kevin Levine Says “no plans” for Games on Wii U

We all remember the big trailer at E3 showing the plethora of third party games coming to the Wii U. If you don’t remember, here it is.

Keven Levine made it clear that he is very supportive of the Wii U. However, in a recent interview with IGN, Mr. Levine made it even more clear that Irrational Games has “no plans” to develop games for the upcoming Ninendo system at this time.

Kevin Levine was quoted saying, “Just to be clear, there are no plans. I’m not saying it can’t happen, but we have no plans to do any games for that platform.” So after all the support from the video, it seems Kevin’s support is totally in spirit for Nintendo’s upcoming console. Perhaps Irrational Games will change its tune when the release date for the Wii U draws closer, or after they see what the system is capable of. Either way, if the Wii U can capture most of the third parties shown in the above video, then it has a chance of regaining confidence in lost fans, and reinvigorating that confidence in loyal gamers who are looking forward to the new system.
