Onlive Confirms They Are Talking with Valve, Sony and Microsoft

So far, Onlive hasn’t quite caught on like they originally hoped and planned they would. Well, after first trying to compete with consoles, it would seem that Onlive may be changing its course.

Onlive is saying that they are currently “chatting” with Sony and Microsoft about possible partnerships. This seems a bit confusing as it kind of negates the reason to have both, especially with Onlive on consoles themselves.

Further news also shows that Valve “really likes” Onlive and is considering a possible partnership or some type of a closer relationship.

What do you think about all of this? Do you like Onlive at all? Have you even played using their service? From my own experience, it isn’t bad at all, but that’s using 25MB/s bandwidth. Also, I don’t know if I see the point in consoles having Onlive apps. What say you?
